Figuratively, one takes “a bird’s eye view” when
one considers a matter from afar; backs away from the matter; ponders it, then
comes to an informed conclusion.
In this day of texted tweets, one must be leery before accepting the message as truth.
Tweet, tweet, tweet, tweet, tweet, tweet, stop, tweet, tweet, tweet, tweet, tweet, tweet, look, tweet, tweet, tweet, tweet, tweet, listen, tweet, tweet, tweet, tweet, tweet, think, tweet, tweet, tweet, tweet, tweet, tweet, tweet, tweet, tweet, tweet, tweet, tweet, tweet, settle.
I have never “tweeted”, but I offer you one for
consideration:
just enuf 2hold/1 big word/Chaos/open-eyed/from
afar/clarity/Peace/ listen-pleasant
sounds/birds do:/ tweet
I posit that the uncertainty caused by messages
sent and delivered by social media is adding to psychological chaos in many
people, and to find peace, one must divorce oneself from the deluge, take a
bird’s eye view of information, and settle into a place of security. I’ll call
that place, “Merry Mount”.
