Full Buck Moon on the 4th
July’s full Moon will rise after sunset in the evening
of Saturday, July 4, before reaching peak illumination at
12:44 A.M. Eastern Time on Sunday, July 5. Look towards the
southeast to watch it rise above the horizon.
Tonight at Merry Mount, as
I contemplate the Full Buck Moon, I intend to save a buck or two; to declare
that the buck stops here; and perhaps most importantly to stay aware, and when
it's appropriate, to buck the system.
There once was a man named
Puck,
Who considered himself a
proud Buck,
When at the full moon,
He became a buffoon,
He seemed not to give a
wise *uck.
Warning:
Don’t be surprised if you see this old retired buck running buck naked
through the moonlight celebrating the 4th.
