A Place for the Full Buck Moon

Full Buck Moon on the 4th

July’s full Moon will rise after sunset in the evening of Saturday, July 4, before reaching peak illumination at 12:44 A.M. Eastern Time on Sunday, July 5. Look towards the southeast to watch it rise above the horizon.

Tonight at Merry Mount, as I contemplate the Full Buck Moon, I intend to save a buck or two; to declare that the buck stops here; and perhaps most importantly to stay aware, and when it's appropriate, to buck the system.

There once was a man named Puck,
Who considered himself a proud Buck,
When at the full moon,
He became a buffoon,
He seemed not to give a wise *uck.

Warning:  Don’t be surprised if you see this old retired buck running buck naked through the moonlight celebrating the 4th.
